REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) for
Emergency Restoration, Repair and Reconstruction of PREPA’s Transmission and Distribution Infrastructure

To all possible providers of restoration (repair and reconstruction) services of the Transmission and Distribution Electrical Infrastructure System
The Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) will carry out a Request for Proposal (RFP) for work and services for the repair and reconstruction of transmission and distribution infrastructure damaged by hurricane María. The works that will be required through the RFP include, among others: repair of substations, above ground/overhead electrical transmission and distribution construction, repair and recovery services including pole (wood, metal and concrete) and tower installation and removal, services for underground circuit systems from 600V to 230kV, installation of cement bases, replacement of transformers, replacement of insulation equipment, etc.
Companies must have the financial and technical capacity, as well as human resources and equipment, to provide services and works, seven days of the week, 24 hours a day.

RFP documents will be announced on Power Advocate platform sometime between January 22 through 26, 2018. We invite you to visit the platform during this time period in order to view the specifications required to submit your proposal.
